Pastor Carl H Stevens When we see how God poured His mercy and grace on our lives based on His essence, His plan and the finished work of Christ, we can plan on His grace being the only policy toward us in the future. "Surely (meaning 'only') goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever" (Psalm 23:6). If God loved us when we were rebellious, ungodly men to the point where He sent His Son to be condemned and die on our behalf, how much more will He now keep us, preserve us and freely give us all things? He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us: Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us: Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul: Then the proud waters had gone over our soul. Psalm 124:2-5 KJV

Biblical success means two things: achieving what the Lord calls you to do and becoming the person He desires you to be. Seek His specific goals for your life. Persevering through obstacles will be a faith-building adventure that teaches you to depend on the Heavenly Father. In Touch Ministries..............................
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. 2 Corinthians 3:18 (King James Version) post a comment

The True Gospel of Jesus Christ centers on the work of Salvation in the inner man every single day. It centers on you serving the LORD, not HIM serving you.post a comment
November 11, 2009 The Power of Persistence( Read more... ) The Father has great goals for our lives. Striving for anything less will neither fulfill us nor achieve what God has planned in our life. Once His direction is clear, we should passionately pursue God’s purposes with the Holy Spirit’s strength and guidance—especially when obstacles arise. Don’t give up! This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. Galatians 5:16-17 KJV
hi, i'm christina + i wrote some poems 4 jesus that i wanted 2 share:
Everyone has a choice to make in life. To go down the narrow path or the broad path. The narrow path sounds boring and hard. The broad path sounds fun and easy. I ask you to think about it though. The narrow path is the path to heaven. The broad path is the path to Hell. On your walk on the narrow path you will have Christ Jesus with you the whole time holding your hand and picking you up when you fall. The broad path is the path to the destruction of your soul, so on this path you will have the Devil. He will not pick you up when you fall, nor will he hold your hand. He will growl at you like a lion waiting to devour you. Sounds pretty scary to me. Is all the worldly things the Devil promises you worth it? I for one would much rather give up all the worldy possesions and walk with Jesus. He is the way, the truth, the light. I know it isn't easy to give up what the so called great society says you've got to have. I struggle with it myself daily, But God knows this. Thats why he tells us to put on his armour so we may be adequately prepared for this day's trials. Have you put on the whole armour of God so you may withstand the wiles of the Devil?

November 9, 2009 Called to Serve( Read more... ) Never forget that you have a high calling which is realized only by lowering yourself to the level of a servant. Look for the opportunities that the Lord will give you today to serve someone. Take your place alongside Christ, who was the ultimate servant of all.
